The diffuser then continuously releases micro-bubbles that rise to the surface, carrying large volumes of water. This mixing process increases oxygen transfer which improves water quality, expands fish habitats, decreases muck, and much more.

Stratification occurs when water is layered by temperatures and/or chemical properties and density.
